Andalusia 360°: Seville, Malaga, Cordoba and Granada
Andalusia 360°: Seville, Malaga, Cordoba and Granada
The trip in a nutshell
A trip to Andalusia means exploring what is the hottest and, according to many, most beautiful region in all of Spain. Ours will be an on-the-road trip, during which we will move between four of the area's most fascinating cities-Cordoba, Granada, Málaga and Seville - while also taking a detour on one of the world's most dangerous paths, El Caminito del Rey. All topped off with tapas and sangria, a must on any self-respecting trip to Spain.
We will soon understand during our tour of Andalusia how Islamic tradition has intertwined with Spanish culture, creating a unique and fascinating mix. Our journey begins with an exploration of Cordoba, with its Mezquita, and continues with Granada, where we overlook the Miradores to admire the views and visit the Alhambra, the marvellous red castle perched on a hill framed by the peaks of the Sierra Nevada Mountains. After the mountains, the sea: we reach Málaga, on the Costa del Sol, and enjoy the sea and the caliente sun of Andalusia; a quick stop at the Caminito del Rey, to experience the thrill of walking on a path suspended in the void, and then we arrive in Seville, which with its Plaza de Espana will leave us speechless. It ends in the best way, of course: tapas for everyone, and a beer in hand!

We begin our discovery of the city from the Mezquita, one of the most amazing mosques in Europe: its magical interiors is a successful blend of Gothic and Arab art and will leave us breathless.
If you feel like it, we can walk in the gardens of the Alcazar of the Christian Kings, another increbile example of Arabian art. Granada: Discovering the Miradores and the Albayzin
Getting lost in the Albayzin
In the morning we will reach Granada where we are welcomed by the most amazing view...Alhambra, the marvellous red castle on hill overlooking the city and framed by the peaks of the Sierra Nevada on the horizon. It will be hard not to fall in love with it when we visit it tomorrow!
Today let's start off in one of Granada's most charming and characteristic neighbourhoods: Albayzin. Situated on a hill facing the Alhambra, we first admire the city's most beautiful view, from the Mirador de San Nicolas, and then explore the district's twisted streets.
Calle Elvira, one of the most peculiar streets, immediately catapults us into another world: on display in the street are carpets, jewellery, lamps and colourful fabrics exactly like those you might find in a Moroccan souk. We can stop here for the evening in a Teteria, where we can try some tea and smoke a hookah.

Granada: under the Sierra Nevada to discover the Alhambra
The eighth wonder of the world
Built during the 5th century, the Alhambra is a timeless beauty, and we will realise this as we stroll through the gardens of the Generalife, or visit the ornate rooms of the Palacios Nazaries. Once again, we will feel as if we have left Spain and are instead in some distant Arab land: we will have several hours to lose ourselves in the Alhambra and go back in time.
The rest of the day is free: those who wish can continue the sightseeing, such as the Cathedral, the Madraza or the Capilla Real, while those who are less interested in history and culture can have a wander in the centre and start the evening with some sangria.
Included: overnight stay with breakfast, car rental and entrance ticket to the Alhambra Palace
Money Pot: fuel, parking and entrance fees

Malaga: it's beach time!
Sea and sunshine
We jump into the car and in less than two hours we are in Malaga. Today we can finally relax on the beach after so many days on the road, wandering around various cities. To enjoy this day to the fullest, we can decide whether to go to Malagueta, El Palo or La Caleta, certainly among the most famous beaches.
If the day is not particularly sunny, we can visit the Picasso Museum to learn more about the famous artist, or we could head to the Roman Theatre and the Plaza de Toros to admire the beautiful architecture of Malaga's buildings.

El Caminito del Rey: adrenaline rush
The ex world's most dangerous road
Our adventure on Spanish soil continues with a route that is... the most dangerous in the world! Just an hour's drive from Malaga is El Caminito del Rey, a route built along the walls of the Desfiladero de los Gaitanes: 3 km of ramps suspended up to 100 metres above the river that will put our head for heights to the test. This place is famous for the condition of the route, which before 2015 had no balustrades or protection, with some collapsed sections.
But don't worry: it is now possible to do this excursion in complete safety, while admiring the landscape around us.
After a few hours suspended in the air, we get back into the car, heading back to Seville, the capital of Andalusia. We can't help but go straight to the Plaza de España. We take a stroll, maybe a boat ride (a group selfie is a must!) and then we go and eat in a typical restaurant, to taste patatas bravas, gazpacho and rabo de toro - bull's tail, which can be eaten as a sauce for pasta or as a second course.
Included: overnight stay with breakfast, car hire and Caminito del Rey excursion
Money Pot: fuel, parking
Not Included: Additional meals and beverages
Please note: The Caminito del Rey excursion is susceptible to adverse weather conditions and in some cases it might not be possible to take part in this activity. In the event of unfavourable weather conditions, the excursion will be replaced with an alternative activity.
Seville: City Tour from the Real Alcazar to the Giralda
Real Alcazar
Early start today and lots of walking!
We explore Seville, starting from the Alcazar royal palace, built during the Arab domination a must for Game of Thrones fans: many scenes from the famous TV series were filmed here!
After the Royal Palace we visit the Cathedral of Santa Maria de la Sede, the largest Gothic cathedral in the world, which houses the tomb of Christopher Columbus. From the Giralda, the tower that serves as the bell tower, we can enjoy a 360° view of the city, before heading back down to the ground and venturing through the streets of Barrio Santa Cruz, a labyrinthine neighborhood full of white houses, to drink a caña and enjoy a plate of tapas.
The evening can continue in the various bars in the centre: they say the nightlife here has a lot to offer, and of course we're not backing down!
Included: overnight stay with breakfast
Money Pot: entrance fees
Not Included: additional meals and beverages

Should this happen, a substitute activity will be provided to ensure a fulfilling experience.

For this trip, it is mandatory to provide a copy of your ID card or passport at least 30 days before departure. This allows us to proceed with booking all the trip services. If it is not provided, we cannot guarantee your participation in the trip. A copy of your document can be uploaded in your personal area after booking.
