The great thing about March? You can either go to the Caribbean to enjoy the sun and the heat - like to Cuba, or Mexico - or you can already hop further south, to Peru, since the good season starts here and you there are probably fewer tourists than in August. If, on the other hand, the idea that warm weather is coming makes you anxious, you can head north to Lapland or Iceland - here you still have a chance to admire the Northern Lights, which colour the night sky in these countries until April.
