Standard Information Form on Traveller’s Rights when booking a Package Holiday for UK Resident Customers

Part 1: General

The combination of travel services offered to you is a package within the meaning of the Package Travel and Linked Travel Arrangements Regulations 2018. Therefore, you will benefit from all EU rights applying to packages. We, WeRoad UK Limited with company number 13313382 and registered office address at WeWork Moor Place, 1 Fore Street Avenue, London, EC2Y 9DT, United Kingdom, will be fully responsible for the proper performance of the package as a whole. Additionally, as required by law, we have protection in place to refund your payments and, where transport is included in the package, to ensure your repatriation in the event that we become insolvent.

Part 2: Key rights under the Package Travel and Linked Travel Arrangements Regulations 2018

  • Travellers will receive all essential information about the package before concluding the package travel contract.

  • There is always at least one trader who is liable for the proper performance of all the travel services included in the contract.

  • Travellers are given an emergency number or details of a contact point where they can get in touch with the organiser or travel agent.

  • Travellers may transfer the package to another person, on reasonable notice and possibly subject to additional costs.

  • The price of the package may only be increased if specific costs rise (for instance fuel prices), and if expressly provided for in the contract, and in any event not later than 20 days before the start of the package. If the price increase exceeds 8% of the price of the package, the traveller may terminate the contract. If the organiser reserves the right to a price increase, the traveller has a right to a price reduction if there is a decrease in the relevant costs.

  • Travellers may terminate the contract without paying any termination fee and get a full refund of any payments if any of the essential elements of the package, other than the price, are changed significantly. If before the start of the package the trader responsible for the package cancels the package, travellers are entitled to a refund and compensation where appropriate.

  • Travellers may terminate the contract without paying any termination fee before the start of the package in the event of exceptional circumstances, for instance if there are serious security problems at the destination which are likely to affect the package.

  • Additionally, travellers may at any time before the start of the package terminate the contract in return for an appropriate and justifiable termination fee.

  • If, after the start of the package, significant elements of the package cannot be provided as agreed, suitable alternative arrangements will have to be offered to the traveller at no extra cost. Travellers may terminate the contract without paying any termination fee, where services are not performed in accordance with the contract and this substantially affects the performance of the package and the organiser fails to remedy the problem.

  • Travellers are also entitled to a price reduction or compensation for damages or both where the travel services are not performed or are improperly performed.

  • The organiser has to provide assistance if the traveller is in difficulty.

  • If the organiser becomes insolvent, payments will be refunded. If the organiser becomes insolvent after the start of the package and if transport is included in the package, repatriation of the travellers is secured. WeRoad Ltd has taken out insolvency protection ABTA Ltd, The Travel Association, 30 Park Street London SE1 9EQ www.abta.com, membership number Y674. Travellers may contact ABTA if services are denied because of WeRoad Ltd.’s insolvency.

Standard Information Form on Traveller’s Rights when Booking a Package Holiday for NON-UK Resident Customers

The combination of tourist services proposed to you is a package within the meaning of Directive (EU) 2015/2302. Therefore, you will benefit from all EU rights that apply to package tours. The company WeRoad Srl., based in Milan (MI), Viale Cassala 30, C.F. and P.IVA 10380820968, e-mail: [email protected], will be fully responsible for the correct execution of the package as a whole. Furthermore, as required by law, WeRoad Srl. has protection to refund your payments and, if transportation is included in the package, guarantee your repatriation in case you become insolvent. Basic rights of the traveller under Directive (EU) 2015/2302

  1. Travellers will receive all essential information about the package before the conclusion of the package tour contract.

  2. There shall always be at least one professional responsible for the proper performance of all tourist services included in the contract.

  3. Travelers are provided with an emergency telephone number or the details of a point of contact through which to reach the organizer or travel agent.

  4. Travellers may transfer the package to another person upon reasonable notice and possibly upon payment of additional costs.

  5. The price of the package may be increased only if specific costs increase (e.g.example, fuel prices) and if expressly provided for in the contract and, in any case, not later than 20 days from the beginning of the package. If the price increase is more than 8 per cent of the price of the package, the traveller may terminate the contract. If the organizer reserves the right to increase the price, the traveller is entitled to a price reduction if there is a decrease in relevant costs.

  6. Travellers may terminate the contract without paying termination fees and obtain a full refund of payments if any of the essential elements of the package, other than the price, is substantially changed. If, before the beginning of the package, the professional responsible for the package cancels it, travellers have the right to obtain a refund and, where appropriate, compensation.

  7. Travellers may, in exceptional circumstances, terminate the contract without paying termination fees prior to the commencement of the package, such as if there are serious problems of security at the place of destination that may jeopardize the package. In addition, the travelers may at any time before the start of the package terminate the contract upon payment of appropriate and justifiable termination fees.

  8. If, after the beginning of the package, substantial elements of the package cannot be provided as agreed, suitable alternative arrangements shall be offered to the traveler, without additional charge. Travellers may terminate the contract, without paying termination fees, if the services are not performed as agreed and this WeRoad S.r.l.▪ Viale Cassala 30 - 20143 Milano (MI) ▪ PEC [email protected] ▪ CF and VAT number: 10380820968 ▪ significantly affects the performance of the package and the organizer has not remedied remedy the problem.

  9. Travellers are also entitled to a price reduction and/or compensation for damages in case of non-execution or non-conformity of tourist services.

  10. The organizer is obliged to provide assistance if the traveller is in difficulty.

  11. If the organizer or, in some member states, the seller becomes insolvent, payments will be refunded. If the organizer or, where applicable, the seller becomes insolvent after the beginning of the package and if transportation is included in the package, the repatriation of travellers is guaranteed.
