✈️My love for travel started in 2009 when I participated in a few volunteer projects in South Africa for 3 months. My passion for slow travel dates back to 2010 when I hitch hiked from Brighton, England to Morocco! I loved the satisfaction of completing what initially seemed impossible and along the journey; making real connections with so many different people, the excitement of the unknown and embracing the craziness that comes with hitching rides with curious but kind locals and interesting truck drivers. Ever since, I've been on many long term trips lasting from 9 months backpacking trips to 3.5 years travel and working adventures. I'm a lover of slow travel: yes the must sees are important but I am always passionate about the connections made, unique new experiences had and learning about new cultures and way of life for locals.✨ Along with hiking, extreme sports, practicing my mermaid skills, dancing like crazy with feathers at carnivals and trying new cuisines, I also love a challenge once a while. My most recent proudest achievement was summiting Kilimanjaro, Tanzania.🏔️ My favourite continent to travel: Africa! But every corner of our planet fascinates me.🗺️ I'm a true believer that the best souvenir from travelling is the people you meet- I'm excited to be your best travel buddy!
