Even if we do not directly take care of purchasing the flight, we can help you evaluate the options available online:
- we offer you the best flight available from comparators such as Skyscanner;
- if available, we can provide you with the flight details of your coordinator or your travel companions.

Round-trip flights are not included in any of our trips because we like to give you autonomy and flexibility: you can choose the airline you want to fly with, the departure airport that suits you best, and how many and which stops you want to make.
Since flights are not included, you also have more flexibility with your travel dates: if possible, you can arrive at your destination a few days earlier or return home a bit later – or even continue independently to a nearby destination!
Read the next sentence carefully: only book your flights after you’ve purchased your WeRoad! This applies especially if you see the status of the trip as 'Last spots'!
If your trip is confirmed, you can book your flight right after receiving the 'Order Confirmation' email. This will arrive a few minutes after completing the booking on our website.
If your trip is planned or almost confirmed, you can only purchase the flight once the trip is confirmed, meaning once the minimum number of participants has been reached. As soon as the trip is confirmed, you'll receive an email notifying you that the trip is confirmed and you can proceed with booking your flight!
Our advice? Once you’ve found the perfect WeRoad for you, take a look at the available flight options, book your WeRoad, and then book the flight you’ve found – but only if or when your trip is confirmed!
The flexibility of not having the flight included allows you to depart from wherever you want and whenever you want. For us, it’s essential that you arrive at your destination on the first day of the trip within the time specified on the itinerary page, and that you organise your return after the time indicated for the farewells. Where can you find this information? Very simple: in the Meeting and Farewell section!
We advise against arriving after the start of the tour or leaving early, as you would miss two important moments of the trip - the first meeting and the final farewells. If, for any reason, there are no other options, contact us at [email protected] and we’ll check with you whether the flights you’ve found are compatible with the itinerary. In this case, the transfer from the airport to the stop where the group is, and vice versa, will be at your own expense.
Any other tips for booking flights? Skyscanner is great for viewing and comparing all the offers from airlines, but there are many other third-party sites to help you choose and book the perfect flight for you.
Even if we don't know the flights of all WeRoaders, there are several ways to find out which flights your travel companions have purchased.
1. Each WeRoader has the ability to communicate their flight details after booking within their personal area so that other travel companions can see the details anonymously. Enter your booking and you will find this section:

2. If you want to find out before booking, instead, you can contact us and we will support you in your search or you can ask your travel companions for direct information by joining our Facebook group 'WeRoad... let's get to know each other before leaving! (official)' – (here is the extended link: https://www.facebook.com/groups/weroadit) look for a post associated with your trip, or ask the group administrators for help in getting in touch with your future adventure companions!
If the coordinator has already been assigned to the trip you are interested in, you can easily find his/her presentation post in the group through the site: in the shift list click on 'Ask the coordinator', or in the trip tab, in the coordinator section, click on 'Ask [coordinator name] about this shift in our Facebook group'. In case of flight changes or delays, remember to inform your Travel Coordinator so that they can organise the best possible meeting with the group - even if you arrive late, they will find a solution!
If the airline cancels your flight, or if you have any issues with boarding, first of all: don’t panic! Contact the airline’s customer service and consider the rebooking options they offer you. Usually, you can opt for an alternative flight or request a refund and buy a new flight with a different airline to avoid missing your WeRoad trip!
If, however, due to flight issues, you decide to cancel your WeRoad trip, you can do so according to the cancellation conditions specified in your booking.
