Itinerary - Umbria Collection Express: wine, chocolate and wellness

Transportation to/from Perugia is not included in the package, allowing you to choose the airport or station, departure time, and travel method that suits you best. Perugia is accessible by train, bus, and plane.

We arrive in Perugia in the afternoon and check in at our exclusive Collection-style accommodation. After settling in, we relax and get ready for a welcome dinner at a traditional restaurant, where we begin our journey through Umbrian flavors. It’s the perfect opportunity to get to know each other, raise a glass, and prepare for an unforgettable experience.

Our morning is dedicated to discovering Assisi, a timeless city. We stroll through its cobbled streets, visit the Basilica of St. Francis, and immerse ourselves in the mystical atmosphere of this unique place.

After lunch, we head to Montefalco, home of Sagrantino wine, for an exclusive visit to a local winery. Here, we’ll enjoy a wine tasting, paired with local delicacies such as cured meats, cheeses, and bruschetta with extra virgin olive oil. We then return to our accommodation to relax and prepare for a delightful dinner together.

We start our day with a sweet breakfast before heading to Perugia, where we’ll indulge in a tasting of chocolate bars and pralines at a local spot in the historic center.

We then continue to lake Trasimeno, one of Umbria’s gems, offering breathtaking landscapes and charming villages. For lunch, we savor the traditional “torta al testo” (don’t be fooled by the name “Torta”, which in Italian means cake—it’s not a dessert!). With a stunning lake view, we enjoy this local specialty, perfect for a shared meal. The afternoon is dedicated to pure relaxation: we immerse ourselves in the soothing waters of one of Umbria’s most exclusive wellness centers!

After breakfast, we set off to explore Spoleto, a city rich in timeless charm, famous for its Duomo and the impressive Ponte delle Torri.

In the afternoon, we enjoy an authentic experience: a tasting of extra virgin olive oil at a local olive mill, where we’ll discover the secrets of this Umbrian excellence and savor its different nuances. Finally, we celebrate our last evening together, sharing photos and memories of this incredible journey through Umbria!

After one last breakfast in the peace of our accommodation, it’s time to say goodbye, taking home memories of a trip filled with beauty, flavors, and special moments.
