Europe Grand Tour: Paris, Brussels, Amsterdam and Berlin by train
Europe Grand Tour: Paris, Brussels, Amsterdam and Berlin by train
The trip in a nutshell
We’re kicking off this epic European tour in style—starting from Paris, the city of love, lights, and way too many croissants (not that we’re complaining). After soaking in the magic of the Eiffel Tower, getting lost in Montmartre, and perfecting our "je ne sais quoi" attitude on a guided tour, we’re hopping on a train—because we like our travels to be as scenic as possible!
Next stop: Brussels! Here, it’s all about the good stuff - Belgian beer and sweet delights - where we’ll taste our way through centuries of brewing tradition. From hidden gems to big names, we’ll sip, savor, and even get a little competitive in a beer game (because what’s a tasting without some fun?). And to wrap it up, we’ll discover the secrets of Belgian brewing in one of the city's renowned breweries - because history tastes even better in a pint glass.
From Brussels, we’ll take a quick detour to Bruges, a fairy-tale town where the canals are charming, the chocolate is divine, and the architecture will have you questioning if you’ve just stepped into a medieval dream. Then it’s back on the rails to Amsterdam—where bikes outnumber people, canals wind through the city like veins, and art, history, and nightlife blend seamlessly.
Finally, we’ll roll into Berlin—the city where history meets hipster, and every corner has a story to tell. With its street art, buzzing neighborhoods, and deep past, Berlin will be the perfect grand finale. From the Berlin Wall to buzzing beer gardens, we’ll soak up every last moment before we say, “Auf Wiedersehen” to an unforgettable adventure.

Immerse yourself in the magic of Paris
Today we’ll dive straight into the heart of Paris with a guided tour that brings the city’s magic to life. We’ll start at the legendary Notre-Dame Cathedral, soaking in its stunning Gothic architecture before wandering through the charming Île de la Cité. From the picturesque Place Dauphine to the dazzling stained glass of Sainte-Chapelle, every step will feel like a scene from a movie. Next, we’ll admire the iconic Louvre from the outside (no, we won’t attempt to steal the Mona Lisa) and stroll through the elegant Palais Royal gardens. Crossing the romantic Pont des Arts, we’ll take in the Seine’s breathtaking views before arriving at Place de la Concorde, where history and grandeur collide. And of course, no Parisian adventure is complete without a stop at the Eiffel Tower—snap a few photos or, if you're up for it, make the climb!
After getting our morning dose of history, the afternoon is ours to enjoy. We can glide down the Seine on a boat cruise, giving our feet a well-deserved break while soaking in the city from a different angle. Or, if we’re feeling energetic, we can climb up to Montmartre, visiting the stunning Sacré-Coeur and earning our next pastry with a bit of stair-climbing cardio. As the sun sets, Paris turns on its charm. An apéritif in the Marais? A cozy bistro dinner in Saint-Germain-des-Prés? Or maybe a crêpe feast in Montparnasse? The choice is ours. And if we’re not ready to call it a night, we can catch a show at the Moulin Rouge, sip cocktails at a rooftop bar, or dance until dawn in Pigalle’s vibrant clubs. One thing’s for sure—Paris never sleeps, and neither will we!

From Paris to Brussels: croissants, chocolate and Belgian brews
Welcome to Belgium!
We kick off the morning with a classic Parisian send-off—one last croissant and coffee before boarding our train to Belgium. Two hours later, we roll into Brussels, ready to swap “bonjour” for “bonjour” (same word, different vibe) and dive into the heart of this beer-loving city. After dropping off our bags, we have time to explore a bit. Maybe we wander through the Grand Place, marveling at its over-the-top architecture, or grab a plate of golden, crispy fries—because let’s be real, Belgians do fries right! But the real adventure starts in the afternoon when we meet up with a local beer expert for a deep dive into Belgium’s brewing magic.
But first: Chocolate. Because this is Belgium, and pairing beer with artisanal pralines is not just a suggestion—it’s a lifestyle. After indulging in some rich, melt-in-your-mouth treats, we move on to the main event: beer. We’ll visit hidden local bars, sip some of Belgium’s finest brews, and uncover the secrets behind their world-famous brewing techniques. From centuries-old Trappist ales to bold new craft creations, every stop is a new discovery (and yes, we’ll taste-test our way through). The grand finale? With a fresh beer in hand and a head full of fun facts (and maybe just a little buzz), we’ll wrap up the tour in central Brussels, perfectly positioned for whatever the night has in store. Cheers to a day well lived!
Included: overnight stay, breakfast, train to Brussels and walking tour of Brussels with private guide and beer tastings

Bruges in a day: fairytales, canals, and waffles
Discovering Bruges, the so-called “Venice of the North”
Rise and shine, because today we’re trading the hum of Brussels for the charm of Bruges! A quick train ride whisks us away to a city that looks like it’s straight out of a storybook—think cobblestone streets, dreamy canals, and architecture that’ll have your camera working overtime.
Once we step off the train, Bruges is ours to explore. We’ll wander through the Markt, the city’s main square, where medieval buildings tower over lively cafés. Fancy a panoramic view? Climbing the Belfry’s 366 steps is totally worth the leg workout. From there, we’ll stroll along the canals and maybe even hop on a boat to see why Bruges is called the “Venice of the North.”
And of course, no day in Belgium is complete without indulging in the good stuff: waffles, frites, and chocolate (all in the name of culture, obviously). We’ll pop into artisan chocolatiers, sip on rich hot cocoa, and if the mood strikes, why not end the day with another Belgian beer? As the sun starts to set, we’ll hop back on the train to Brussels, tired but happy, with our stomachs full and our camera rolls even fuller. One perfect day in Bruges, checked off the bucket list!

Next stop: Amsterdam!
Welcome to Netherlands
This morning, we hop on the train and leave Belgium behind as we speed toward Amsterdam. Two hours of scenic views, chill vibes, and just enough time to decide whether we should explore the city on two feet or two wheels. By late morning, we roll into the Dutch capital, ready to take on the day. Amsterdam welcomes us with its dreamy canals, charming houseboats, and an effortlessly cool atmosphere. We can dive right in by strolling through the quirky streets of Jordaan, grabbing a fresh stroopwafel (because sugar = energy), or kicking back in a cozy café while people-watching like a local.
For those who want to see the city from a different angle, a boat tour is the way to go—floating through the canals as we soak in the sights, from historic bridges to hidden courtyards. Not a fan of boats? No problem. Amsterdam’s best kept secrets are found by walking (or, for the fearless, by biking). As evening falls, the city starts to glow. Whether we’re unwinding with drinks by the water, checking out a rooftop bar, or diving into Amsterdam’s legendary nightlife, one thing’s certain: this city knows how to keep the adventure going.

Lost in Amsterdam
A full day to explore Amsterdam: let’s make it count!
Amsterdam is our playground today, and we have zero obligations—just endless possibilities. Whether we want to immerse ourselves in culture, cruise the canals, or just vibe with the city’s laid-back energy, the choice is totally ours. Let’s start slow with a legendary Dutch brunch. Pancakes as big as our heads? Yes, please. A cozy canal-side café with fresh stroopwafels? Even better. Once we’re fueled up, we do as the locals do—hop on bikes and weave through the city like pros (or at least try to without crashing into each other).
Afternoon and nightlife
Fancy some vintage shopping? The Nine Streets district is packed with secondhand gems, quirky boutiques, and cafés that look straight out of Pinterest. More into art? The Van Gogh Museum and Rijksmuseum are must-sees, while the MOCO Museum serves up modern, street-art-inspired coolness. History buffs can visit the Anne Frank House—but fair warning, tickets sell out fast!
Come sunset, we dive into Amsterdam’s buzzing food scene—Indonesian rijsttafel, Dutch fries drowned in mayo, or a trendy food hall with literally everything? Decisions, decisions. And then? Rooftop cocktails, cozy speakeasies, or a wild night in Leidseplein or the Red Light District (for the views, of course). If we’re up for something different, a silent disco boat or a secret underground club might just be the move.
No matter how we spend the day, one thing’s for sure—Amsterdam always delivers. So, are we biking, cruising, or just getting lost in the city’s magic? Let’s go!
Included: overnight stay and breakfast

Berlin calling
Welcome to Germany
Rise and shine, because today we’re swapping the canals of Amsterdam for the raw, electric energy of Berlin! Our day kicks off with a scenic six-hour train ride—prime time to catch up on sleep, listen to that perfectly curated Eurotrip playlist, or debate which German dish you’ll be trying first (schnitzel? Currywurst? Both?).
We roll into Berlin in the early afternoon and from here, it’s “choose your own adventure”: feeling ambitious? Jump into an optional three-hour walking tour and get your history fix with tales of the Berlin Wall, Checkpoint Charlie, and Brandenburg Gate. Bonus points if you find the best photo op with an Ampelmännchen (those quirky little traffic light men). Prefer to wander at your own pace? Berlin’s got you covered. Grab a döner kebab, explore the artsy streets of Kreuzberg, or just soak in the city’s edgy, creative vibes. One thing’s for sure: by the time the sun sets, you’ll be buzzing with Berlin energy—and probably already plotting your first night out in one of Europe’s most legendary nightlife capitals. Prost!

The grand finale: Berlin
One last day to shop, chill & soak it all in
Well, folks, we made it. After days of exploring, adventuring, and probably developing a deep emotional bond with our backpacks, we’ve arrived at the final day of our European escapade. But don’t worry—this isn’t goodbye just yet. Today is all about taking it easy (we deserve it). Whether you want to hit the stores for some last-minute souvenirs (yes, your mom does want a magnet) or just sip a cappuccino at a sidewalk café while feeling effortlessly European, the choice is yours.
Want to squeeze in one last adventure? Go for it! There are plenty of optional activities if you’re not ready to slow down just yet. But if all you want is to wander, shop, and reminisce about that time you almost missed the train, we support that too. So, let’s make the most of this day. One last espresso, one last toast, and one last chance to pretend we’re locals before reality calls. We’ll be back, Europe. Just you wait.
