Check-in: Our adventure starts in Manhattan
Show maps

Roundtrip flights or transportation to reach the destination are not included in the package, so you can decide from where and when you want to leave! This gives you complete freedom of choice to adjust your travel itinerary to your needs.

There is no way to describe the first impact you have with the Big Apple : everyone reacts differently! Surely the emotion of being here, after having seen this very famous skyline in many films and TV series, will be very strong! Let's start off with a bang with the first dinner together - will we eat hamburgers and fries? It is certainly the typical dish around here, but we also recommend another, equally traditional (and good!): order a grilled cheese with tomato soup and you won't regret it!

Accommodation: NH Collection, Hotel TEMPO or similar

Times Square and Grand Central Station
Show maps

Our day starts from Times Square , the beating heart of the Big Apple! A group photo is mandatory on the famous red steps in the middle of the busy intersections of yellow taxis - we will feel a bit disoriented in the midst of all this chaos, but don't worry: it's completely normal! We then move on to Grand Central Station, which is much more than a train station : we will be amazed because inside we will see a tennis court and a sky full of bright stars! It is the largest train station in the world... a peculiarity that makes it even more unique? In the main atrium there is the acoustic gallery: if we stand in a corner and whisper a few words to the person in the opposite corner, they will be able to hear everything loud and clear!

An iron?
Show maps

Let's take a look at the famous "Iron", the Flatiron Building, one of the most particular skyscrapers in New York with a characteristic triangular plan and a great height (87 meters on which 22 floors are distributed) that make it unique in its kind. Walking through the East Village to head towards the Brooklyn Bridge , we can admire the particularity of its bookstores, cafes and artists who spend their time here, in a super relaxed atmosphere.

Brooklyn Bridge and Helicopter Tour

A walk here will allow us to admire the Manhattan Bridge and the Manhattan skyline from a whole new angle. And after crossing it, why not see it from above? In fact, the first wow moment of this trip awaits us: we will board a helicopter to fly over Manhattan and its iconic skyline . We already have goosebumps at the thought, do you?

A stroll in Central Park
Show maps

Let's start this day with a timeless New York classic: let's grab a takeaway coffee like real Americans and go to have breakfast in Central Park. The most famous park in the world extends over 843 acres and inside we can admire splendid lakes, green meadows and breathtaking bridges. It is populated by New Yorkers who do physical activity, take a walk or relax on a bench. Here let's arm ourselves with a camera because we can immortalize the undisputed protagonists of the park... the squirrels !

Saint Patrick Cathedral
Show maps

What is a cathedral doing among skyscrapers ? We are in front of Saint Patrick Cathedral , the largest Gothic cathedral in North America: completely in neo-Gothic style, it has spires about 100 meters high on the outside and inside it is divided into three naves with many white marble sculptures. One of the most suggestive points is the Lady Chapel, dedicated to the Virgin Mary.

Rockefeller Center and the Theatre District
Show maps

The Rockefeller Center is a complex of 19 buildings, connected or not to each other by underground passages , built by the oil magnate John D. Rockefeller. Here is also the Rockefeller Plaza, where every year the enormous Christmas tree is lit and the famous ice skating rink The Rink is set up. Let's take a look at the Crown Plaza Hotel , admire the Theater District with its numerous theaters offering shows of all kinds and spend our evening in the colorful Times Square, crossed by Fifth Avenue , where we can take a few selfies with Mickey Mouse, Winnie the Pooh or some strange character dressed up as a celebrity.

Little Italy - Chinatown - SoHo
Show maps

We are very excited for our last day in New York: today we get lost in Little Italy, Chinatown and SoHo! These lively and charming neighborhoods offer excellent food, and characteristic shops. SoHo is a place of historical interest and is known for the cast iron architectural details of its imposing 19th century buildings, while Little Italy is the heart of Mulberry Street - stories of this neighborhood are told about mafia bosses and the Italians who have populated it for centuries. There is no shortage of restaurants here and maybe we have a chat with an Italian-American who tells us how he arrived in the States. A little further south is Chinatown , one of the oldest and largest presences of the Chinese people in the world.

Empire State Building
Show maps

In the afternoon we admire the imposing Empire State Building and of course we climb to the top to be enchanted by the New York skyline. Back with our feet on the ground, we dedicate ourselves to unbridled shopping in the magnificent shops of 5th Avenue. To end the day, we have another card to play: a new panoramic view of NY from a new iconic skyscraper: The Edge .

Benihana Dinner

After the excitement of the skyscrapers, we return to earth to enjoy a dinner at the Benihana restaurant , one of the most famous here in New York because it will not be a simple dinner but a real show: a chef will cook for us and entertain us with fire and food games!

Ellis Island and Liberty Island
Show maps

It's our last day in New York but we've already experienced a thousand emotions: a helicopter ride, the skyline seen from two skyscrapers, a dinner with a show... what's missing? A brunch, of course! This morning we'll have a typical bottomless New York brunch , with avocado toast, omelette, burrito (yes, Americans eat them for breakfast too!), pancakes, bacon, eggs... we'll leave refreshed and charged for a last walk through the streets of New York!

In the afternoon we can then set sail for Ellis Island , an ancient fortified military arsenal to protect the bay, which was later transformed into a rest stop for immigrants disembarking in the United States. Today we can look for any distant relatives among the names of Italian immigrants in the register inside the museum. Returning to Manhattan, we can also stop at Liberty Island , the island on which stands the Statue of Liberty , nicknamed Lady Liberty and conceived as a representation of political freedom. A worthy conclusion to this incredible journey!
