Itinerary
Where better to explore the United States than New York City? We will discover the heart of the East Coast, always one step ahead of the rest of the world while keeping a timeless charm.
We start with Manhattan, where skyscrapers touch the clouds and the streets buzz with taxis, bicycles and electric scooters. Can we keep up? We'll stroll between Grand Central Station, the Flatiron Building and the Empire State Building, then along Broadway to Times Square, Little Italy, Soho and Chinatown. Next come the Brooklyn Bridge and Dumbo, then the ferry to Ellis Island, passing the Statue of Liberty. A jump to Harlem, another to Central Park, and a last one to Ground Zero, where an unearthly silence reigns. We'll admire the Pools and the Freedom Tower, soaring 541 meters high: New York is always ready to get back on its feet.

Welcome to New York!
Check-in: our adventure starts in Manhattan
Roundtrip flights or transportation to reach the destination are not included in the package, so you can decide from where and when you want to leave! This gives you complete freedom of choice to adjust your travel itinerary to your needs.
First things first: we check into our hotel in New York. And what better way to kick off our adventure than a scrumptious dinner?
First dinner together: we'll be indulging in authentic American cuisine, but we won't give away all the details just yet. Get ready for a surprise treat, which may include the classic hamburger and fries!

From Times Square to Brooklyn
Times Square and Grand Central Station
Our day in the city that never sleeps starts at bustling Times Square, the epitome of New York's vibrancy and energy.
Selfies in Times Square: an iconic, must-visit spot, so let's snap a few to capture the moment.
Inside Grand Central Station: Grand Central Station is a true gem of New York City and much more than just a railway station: a Beaux-Arts architectural marvel featured in countless movies and TV shows, with an imposing structure and majestic interiors.
More of the Big Apple: as we continue through the city, we discover more hidden gems and iconic landmarks that make New York unique.
Flatiron Building and East Village
We continue south to the iconic Flatiron Building, then on to the trendy East Village.
Feeling hungry? If so, we can stop at one of the many cafes in the East Village.
Across the Brooklyn Bridge: then we head to the world-famous Brooklyn Bridge for stunning views of Manhattan's skyline.
Flavours by the Hudson: we may also discover new culinary delights along the Hudson River.
Brooklyn Bridge and Dumbo
This afternoon it's time for the iconic Brooklyn Bridge, one of the greatest symbols of New York City.
Walking the bridge: when it was built in 1883, it was the longest bridge in the world, and it remains a spectacular vantage point on the Manhattan skyline.
Evening in Dumbo: across the river lies Dumbo, a renowned art district that was home to many artists in the '80s. Today it boasts numerous art galleries and scenic bars: the perfect place to spend the evening!

Harlem, Broadway and Central Park: art, culture and fun
Harlem: gospel and brunch
Today we begin in the vibrant neighbourhood of Harlem.
Gospel on a Sunday? If we're lucky enough to be there on a Sunday, we can attend a gospel mass at the First Corinthian Baptist Church.
Breakfast or brunch: after singing along, a delicious breakfast. Or, considering the timing, should we call it brunch?
Harlem bagels: we won't leave Harlem without trying some of their famous bagels!
Central Park and its squirrels
After breakfast, we dive into the urban oasis of Central Park, spanning an impressive 843 acres.
Exploring the park: tranquil lakes, scenic bike paths, charming ponds, lush baseball fields and vibrant flower gardens, with New Yorkers jogging, strolling or lounging on benches with friends and coffee in hand.
Spotting the squirrels: keep an eye out for the friendly squirrels that call Central Park home. They're not afraid of humans and always on the lookout for a tasty treat!
MoMa and St. Patrick's Cathedral
After a quick lunch, we have some time for one of the most famous museums New York City has to offer.
Modern art at MoMa: the Museum of Modern Art (MoMa) houses world-known contemporary art, with names like Warhol, Van Gogh, Pollock, Picasso, Monet and Dali.
On to St. Patrick's Cathedral: the magnificent St. Patrick's Cathedral is the largest gothic cathedral in the United States, surrounded by towering modern skyscrapers. Surreal, right?
Rockefeller Centre and Theatre District
Rockefeller Centre and Rockefeller Plaza are excellent places to spend the evening, especially during Christmas. Remember the iconic scene from "Home Alone 2" where Kevin reunites with his mother? It was filmed right here!
Up for some skating? If you're up for it, during the Christmas season there's an ice rink to enjoy.

Ground Zero, Statue of Liberty and Wall Street
Ground Zero Memorial
After the upper side yesterday, today we focus on the lower side of Manhattan. In the morning we arrive at the Ground Zero Memorial, a tribute to the Twin Towers that once stood here: it's hard to put into words how this place can make you feel.
Museum or Freedom Tower? There are various options to explore: the 9/11 Museum or the top of the Freedom Tower, currently the tallest building in NYC and the fifth tallest in the world.
The area is known as One World Trade Centre, a testament to 9/11, a day the entire world will never forget.
Financial District and Wall Street
A short distance from the One World Trade Center lies the Financial District, home to the New York Stock Exchange, one of the most significant in the world.
Lunch and Wall Street: here we can grab some lunch and take a stroll to the iconic Wall Street.
Finding the Charging Bull: while exploring the area, we can search for the Charging Bull sculpture and even touch its testicles for good luck, as the locals say!
Ellis and Liberty Islands
In the afternoon we explore more of NYC's renowned landmarks.
By ferry to Ellis Island: a ferry ride takes us to Ellis Island, once a mandatory stop for people arriving from Europe before entering the country and today a museum.
Searching the logbooks: we can browse preserved logbooks and look for our family names, perhaps even our ancestors!
The Statue of Liberty: next stop, Liberty Island, home of another iconic symbol of the USA, the Statue of Liberty.
Drinks on a rooftop? How about ending the day with a refreshing drink at a rooftop bar?

Manhattan: from the ground to the top
Little Italy, Chinatown, Soho and the Summit
On our last day in New York, we want to see and experience as much as we can, starting with some of the most popular neighbourhoods.
Coffee in SoHo: first stop, SoHo, where we can grab a coffee to go and get a taste of the local culture.
Strolling Little Italy: a leisurely walk around Little Italy, spoilt for choice with Italian restaurants.
Little Italy or Chinatown? For lunch we could stay in Little Italy or head to Chinatown for excellent Asian cuisine. If we're feeling adventurous, we could even get take-out and enjoy it in a nearby park!
Empire State Building and Top of the Rock
Next stop: the Empire State Building, another iconic skyscraper of New York's famous skyline.
Souvenirs and the Top of the Rock: we can do some souvenir shopping, then head up to the roof of Top of the Rock for the stunning 360° view of New York City and the sunset.
Final dinner: we end the day with a dinner to reminisce on the amazing experiences shared during our trip.
Here's to the City that never sleeps!
