Exploring the cities
Today, we have two options: explore Santiago or venture to Valparaiso. Valparaiso, a coastal city near Santiago, is a World Heritage site known as the Jewel of the Pacific. Marvel at its scenic elevators, colourful houses, and impressive museums. Don't miss "La Sebastiana," one of Pablo Neruda's three Chilean houses. Curious about the others? "Chascona" is in Santiago, while "Isla Negra" is in its namesake town.

San Pedro de Atacama
Atacama
Today, we say goodbye to Santiago and fly to Atacama in the north of Chile, where we'll spend the next two nights. Atacama is renowned as the world's driest desert, yet it teems with life and vibrant indigenous villages situated over 4,000 meters above sea level. After a quick meal at the hotel, we'll set off on a thrilling Jeep journey that will make us feel like we're exploring the Moon's terrain.
Valley of the Moon
Get ready to be amazed by the awe-inspiring beauty of the Valley of the Moon. This extraordinary place showcases stunning geological formations shaped by wind and water over time, resembling a lunar landscape. Its striking aridity and ever-changing shades of red, influenced by sunlight, create a mesmerizing experience. Get set for a captivating lunar adventure!

Avaroa Park and Laguna Verde
Today we say goodbye to Chile and hello to Bolivia! We journey through the stunning Eduardo Avaroa National Park, visiting the captivating Laguna Verde and the artistic Salvador Dalí Desert. Continuing north, we encounter the awe-inspiring Sol de Mañana geysers, the rejuvenating Polques thermal springs, and the breathtaking Red Lagoon. Our lodge in the heart of this remarkable desert awaits, offering a truly unforgettable experience.

Our day concludes at the Ollagüe Volcano viewpoint, offering a breathtaking vista of the landscape and its mesmerizing smoke columns.

Today, we wake before sunrise for a special reason: to fully experience the mesmerising beauty of the Salar de Uyuni. One tells of Tunupa, a beautiful girl whose tears transformed the fertile fields into the immense salt desert we see today. Brace yourself for a day immersed in the extraordinary allure of this unique destination.
The island of Incahuasi and the village of Colchani
Nestled within this desert lies the captivating Incahuasi Island, adorned with towering ancient cacti that can reach up to 18 meters in height. As we explore, let's have fun playing with perspective and unleashing our imagination for some creative photos.
Once we've taken in the island's beauty, we continue our journey to the village of Colchani, where we can browse and purchase local goods at the bustling market.

From Uyuni to Potosi

Today is a free day in La Paz, allowing us to choose our own adventure. We can take a guided tour, visiting Plaza Murillo, Plaza San Francisco, and exploring local markets like Mercado Negro. For those seeking an exciting experience, we can venture to the Death Road or explore the unique Moon Valley. In the evening, let's catch a lucha libre show featuring indigenous cholitas wrestlers. And of course, we can't miss trying street food like choripan or anticucho. Enjoy the day in La Paz, filled with endless possibilities!

Staff
Our trips are led by a Travel Coordinator who has been specifically trained by us to lead group travels to ensure you have the best time. A WhatsApp group with all travel participants will be created two weeks prior to departure by your Travel Coordinator.

Arrival and Departure Times
We always advise trying to get to the meet-up point for the first day of your tour by 5pm. On the last day of the tour you are free to leave whenever you want!

Backpacks are mandatory to allow easy transfers - we recommend a 45L backpack for our trips.
