Hi there!
I'm Domenico, I'm 30 years old, and I live in Strasbourg, where I teach Italian at an international school that looks like Hogwarts. Even though I'm not a wizard, I'd love to have a Nimbus 2024 as a means of transportation to travel fast and fly high around the world.
I have studied Literature in Naples, Barcelona and Prague. Then European Literary Cultures in Bologna, Dakar and Strasbourg, where I graduated before starting to work as a teacher in a small village on Lake Maggiore that reminded me a lot of my homeland, the Irpinia.
With or without magical brooms, I love stepping out of my comfort zone to explore, meet people, and experience the most bizarre cultures and their traditions. I'm not good at telling stories, but I really enjoy listening to them and... photographing them. I'm a pathological analog photography enthusiast: I always travel with half my backpack empty and the other half full of film rolls... so that on the way back, it'll be half empty and half full of memories.
When I have some free time (and I'm not traveling), I read, create random things that I often hang on walls, drink lots of beers with friends, and make predictions about the future.
I drink coffee in every country in the world, and even if I don't speak a language, I always give it a try, because I believe that being able to communicate and have exchanges with others is the greatest treasure of a journey.
