Let's embark on an exciting winter journey in the Swedish Lapland where we'll hunt the northern lights, enjoy the icy winds of the North and embark on an icebreaker cruise - a one-of-a-kind experience that you must do at least once in your lifetime.

For this trip we meet directly in Luleå, at the gateway to Lapland. Our goal is very simple: to admire and photograph the incredible Northern Lights! The conditions here are perfect: we are practically in the Arctic Circle, and the light pollution present in the big cities where we live is not a problem up here. What we'll need is a nice clear sky and the right bit of luck: the queen of the night will suddenly pop out and leave us breathless. In winter there are almost 24 hours of complete darkness but we will be busy: snow and ice offer many adventures, like snowmobiling or icebreaker cruising, which will probably be the highlight of the trip after seeing the northern lights. And then, after spending a few hours in the Arctic cold, we'll relax in a sauna or next to a lit fireplace, with a good cup of hot chocolate - which never hurts. Ready for adventure in the far north?
