Itinerary - Canada 360°: Montreal, Toronto and Niagara Falls

Round trip flights are not included in the package, so you can choose from where and when you want to fly. This is to give you maximum freedom of choice!

Arrive and check into your hotel in Toronto, the starting point for our adventure! Toronto, marked by the iconic CN Towers, boasts both sky-high marvels and a surprising underground city stretching over 30km. How about kicking off our journey with some local beer and a friendly chat to get acquainted? Cheers to the start of an unforgettable experience!

Good morning, WeRoaders! Our first mission is simple yet crucial for our journey's success: securing rental cars. Mission accomplished, and now, we're hitting the road to cover the 280 km to reach the breathtaking Thousand Islands Archipelago.

Don't think we're exaggerating about the 'thousand islands' – it's a whopping 1,864 islands! Welcome to North America, where everything, even national parks, is XL. To make the most of this vast area, we're opting for a delightful boat excursion, the perfect way to uncover this paradise swiftly.

Our final destination for the day? Ottawa. Congratulations, trave;lers – we've nailed all our missions, and now it's time to treat ourselves to a well-deserved dinner.

Today we need energy so it is essential to have a nice (and healthy) breakfast.  Have you ever tried rafting? If the answer is yes, well done, we respect you very much. If the answer is no... well, now is the time! We leave to head towards Bryson and then tackle the rapids of the Ottawa River ; and it doesn't end there because in addition to rafting we also included lunch and, since we were there, also a barbeque dinner... not bad, eh? So let's get pumped up and have fun today!

When we think of Canada, what comes to mind? Niagara Falls? Absolutely, but there's more to it! The cold? Indeed, but it's also a state of mind, or so they say. Here's a hint—it's something delicious! Today, it's all about indulging our taste buds in the original maple syrup after yesterday's adventures.

Starting early from Bryson, we make our way to the iconic cabane à sucre, Sucre Chez Dani. Here, we'll unravel the secrets of how maple syrup is obtained and processed. Most importantly, we'll have a delightful lunch, all complemented by the sweetness of the syrup. With our mouths watering, we then continue our journey towards Quebec City.

Today we have the freedom to choose what suits us best. Whether we prefer a leisurely morning exploring Quebec City or crave a nature-filled adventure, like discovering Jacques Cartier National Park – the choice is ours. This Quebec region park offers a range of outdoor activities, with trekking being a popular choice, while options like canoeing, kayaking, and rafting add to the excitement.

If Quebec City wins our vote, here's a tip: make sure to wear comfortable shoes for the exploration ahead.

Good morning, WeRoaders! It's time to hit the road as we bid farewell to Quebec City and set our course for Montreal. A journey of about 3 and a half hours awaits us. After dropping off our luggage, we dive into exploring Montreal, a captivating blend of a large US-style metropolis and a quintessential city of French Canada, Quebec.

Our adventure begins in Vieux Montreal, the Old City, the most charming and ancient area. Near Place d'Armes, the striking Basilica of Notre Dame graces the skyline, a smaller cousin to its Parisian counterpart. The picturesque Old Port (Vieux-Port de Montreal) is also within easy reach.

The vibrant heart of the Old City is Place Jacques-Cartier, a delightful pedestrian square honouring a French explorer.

With limited time but plenty to see, let's keep those legs moving today!

Today marks our return to Toronto, and we're in for a breathtaking encounter with one of the world's most iconic natural wonders – the Niagara Falls complex. Straddling the border of the United States and Canada, this majestic ensemble consists of three distinct waterfalls: Horseshoe Falls, American Falls, and Bridal Veil Falls.

To provide a glimpse: Horseshoe Falls, the largest, boasts a horseshoe-shaped crest stretching approximately 792 meters and descending 57 meters into the Niagara River. American Falls spans around 323 meters in width, with a drop of about 54 meters, while Bridal Veil Falls, the smallest, is situated next to the American Falls. To enhance our view, we won't miss a ferry ride – get ready for a refreshing experience!

Following this whirlwind of emotions and water, we'll gather for our last dinner together. While the journey is concluding, our minds are already wandering to the next adventure. Here's to us and the journeys yet to come. Cheers!
